A World Class Faculty
The Gatton College is home to more than 70 full-time faculty. Our faculty have taught all over the Globe from Athens to Zagreb, Dubai to Melbourne, and Stockholm to Warsaw. Here at Gatton you'll find Fullbright Scholars and members of corporate boards.
Our faculty boasts the current President of the Auditing Section of the American Accounting Association as well as the Academic Dean of the American Banker's Association's School of Bank Marketing and Management. We have former staffers from the Federal Reserve, marketing researchers from State Farm Insurance and faculty who have shared their expertise with such well-known companies as ALCOA, USX, and Goodyear.
Gatton faculty also influence public policy and explore ways to make the world a better place, testifying before Congress and other regulatory bodies, and working with many government agencies and nonprofits such as HUD, the Congressional Budget Office and the National Poverty Center. Come and learn from experts in such far ranging topics as knowledge management systems, Japanese banking, competitive intelligence, the role of social networks in organizations, and internet marketing, to name just a few.
Why UK?
The New Product Development Module provides students with an excellent understanding of the NPD process. Given my interest in Marketing Research, I expose students to many research tools including factor analysis techniques for developing perceptual maps as well as conjoint analysis for designing new products. The Project Connect work provides students a real-world application of the tools taught. I believe students receive a top notch education both in the classroom as well as beyond.
