"I joined the one year MBA program because of its strong focus on analytics and fast-paced curriculum. The module-based design offers a balanced approach to building business acumen, starting with a solid foundation in accounting, market structure and finance is complemented by practical training on the art of leadership and subtle science of negotiations in management. In addition, company-sponsored projects on real business initiatives offer a platform to test and apply classroom learning. Whether you seek to identify your place in management or turn your career around, Gatton's MBA program will help you succeed."

"Thanks to the MBA program and curriculum I am adding a lot more value to my current position than I ever could have without the degree. I never thought I would EVER use process maps, client provider relationship, and lean principles as much as I currently am.
I just finished being on a team that completely revamped a section of our manufacturing process. Due to our process map, we were able to suggest ways to drastically reduce waste and provide a new layout to the process. The next team will be implementing all of our changes within the month.
It was a shock to go from being a full-time student, only seeing things from a classroom setting, to being a full-time employee placed in a setting where those classroom lessons are brought to life. It is very rewarding."

The Gatton One Year MBA program helped to improve my time-management, team-building, team-leading, and communication skills with all levels of an organization.
Coming into the program as an experienced candidate I thought I would learn some of the things I had experienced in the corporate world. I found out while going through the program that the skills you learn, and the abilities you acquire are so unique. Experienced business leaders can leverage additional real-world experience through Project Connect along side a dynamic and challenging education in business to only further your skill-set.

"I think one of the biggest things the MBA program helped me with was project management and presenting skills. No matter what career path students chose, these skills are critical in the business world. The Project Connect program really helps you work an example of a project you would have in industry and the challenges associated with it.
In 2012, I moved to a new role as the St. Louis Distribution Center Capability Leader for Procter and Gamble. In this role I am using tools, such as value stream mapping, that were taught during the lean six sigma part of the supply chain module to identify losses at the site and lead projects to eliminate those losses."

"I received my undergraduate degree in Accounting and became a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), but soon after graduation I felt a strong desire to broaden my knowledge and specialty to include finance, management and other business topics. This, for me, meant pursuing an MBA and I felt that Gatton presented the best program. Unlike other colleges and universities, Gatton's program presented me with the opportunity to experience and learn about many different aspects of business rather than focusing solely on one area. That was true in 1983 and even more so today with their 11-month MBA. This approach to teaching business proved to have a significantly positive impact on my career.
Today, I think that students need to take into serious consideration how the workforce is evolving. People change careers more often and are presented with more options in a variety of disciplines. By earning a broad-based MBA, countless doors will be open to students seeking a career in business.
Fortunately, Gatton offers just that- the chance to learn and gain hands-on knowledge in a variety of financial and business arenas.
My Gatton MBA gave me the credentials and the confidence I needed to succeed in making a major career change in a very competitive field. Attending Gatton is a choice I will never regret."

"I didn't go to college to become a business mogul. In fact, I was determined to earn my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering, but one-day fate intervened when I walked into a brokerage firm to invest $1,500. I was advised to purchase stock in a company called Kodak and before I knew it my investment had grown significantly and I became very interested in the brokerage business. To become successful in this field I knew I had to educate myself and that earning an MBA was a must.
Even though it has been decades since I earned my MBA, I attribute a great deal of my success not only to UK but also to Gatton's MBA program. The program taught me critical thinking skills, from prioritizing and strategizing to approaching problems and issues logically and practically. I don't think a day goes by that I don't apply this knowledge to my work.
In my experience, truly succeeding in the corporate enterprise means finding small companies that can use your talents and skills and grow with them. Gatton provides the tools and exactly those kinds of opportunities. That's why I believe it has such a tremendous value on every level."
