Biography:
Brian Dineen is an Associate Professor of Management in the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky. He received his Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in 2003. His research interests include recruitment, person-environment congruence, and counter-productive behavior among members of collectives. This research has been published in outlets such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Human Resource Management Journal, Research in Personnel and Human Resources Management, and the Journal of Management. He has taught Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior courses at the undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. levels. His service activities have included being an editorial board member for the Journal of Applied Psychology and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes and reviewer for seven other academic journals. He also currently serves on the executive committee for the Human Resources Division of the Academy of Management. Outside of academics he enjoys time with his wife and young daughters.
